CROWHURST PARK CC
Norths have developed a strong relationship with English club, Crowhurst Park Cricket Club over the last 15 years which has helped enrich the sporting lives of cricketers from both clubs.
Crowhurst Park CC has its home near the historical town of Battle, East Sussex, in the south-east of England. Its picturesque field is found on the sprawling grounds of the Crowhurst Park Holiday Park.
Founded in 1836, Crowhurst Park has a rich history and currently plays in Division 4 (East) of the Sussex Cricket League.
Norths have embarked on numerous tours to the UK, basing their travels out of Crowhurst Park CC on each occasion. The tours have resulted in some fun and challenging ‘friendlies’ against nearby cricketing clubs, whilst creating some lifelong friendships.
These friendships have seen many cricketers from both clubs given the opportunity to ply their skills on the field in the opposite hemisphere. This has been an amazing chance for Norths players to grow as players and people.
The Pelham Buckle has become a symbol of the friendship between the clubs. It now travels back and forth across the world with each visit from a club person. The buckle currently resides with Norths, awaiting our next tourist to visit the UK.
